Stairway (“Stairway of Death”) at the Mauthausen Memorial not accessible

Dear visitors,

Due to a safety assessment, the staircase of the quarry (“stairs of death”) will not be accessible until further notice.

The Mauthausen Memorial is reviewing all options in order to allow access for visitors in the future.
