Fees for the Collections of the Mauthausen Memorial

All prices are net.

Students (under 27, with a valid student ID) will be given a 50% discount.
The Direction may also grant a discount or waive fees in accordance with the provisions of § 20 (2) of the Memorials Act (Gedenkstättengesetz) for projects and initiatives with an educational, cultural or commemorative mission in line with the aims of the Mauthausen Memorial. Cooperation partners are exempt from fees on the principle of reciprocity.

Fees for copies

Scans made by scanner or microfilm scans / paper prints / paper copies

€ 0.20 per scan / sheet

Scans (high definition) from photographs / graphic illustrations or similar

€ 20 per scan
 

Fees for publication

Publication in a printed work with a print run less than 1,000.

€ 20

Publication in a printed work with a print run of 1,000 or more, in an exhibition, film or on TV

€ 50

Publication on the Internet (max. 96 dpi, incl. watermark of the Mauthausen Memorial)

€ 20 for each month started

€ 150 for each year started
 

Fees for research

No fee is charged for search requests for people, in particular former prisoners of the Mauthausen/Gusen concentration camp and their immediate family members.

Research that exceeds the usual time frame is subject to a charge. A fee of € 40 per hour will be charged from the beginning of the second hour. Research requests are accepted on the basis of staff availability.
